๐ผ Baby Capsule Installation
Many parents prefer to use a baby capsule or carrier for the first six months โ the benefit is you don’t disturb your baby’s sleep when transitioning from car to pram. Bub can stay undisturbed through the transition.
Another great advantage: all you need is a second base installed in the grandparents’ car, making it much easier if they need to pick up your child from day care in an emergency. Hiring an additional base costs approximately $65 for a couple of months, compared to several hundred dollars for a convertible car seat.
Whenever a capsule is fitted, it should ideally go on the passenger side of the vehicle โ mainly because the narrow centre position, and the split in the back seat, can make it unsafe to install a capsule in the middle where the upper tether may fall between the split.
