B-Compaq Ifix Review
What is all the fuss about the B-Compaq Ifix.
Read our thoughts on the B-Compaq.
Recommended: The Britax B-Compaq convertible car seat is an updated Graphene with the B-first treatment, receiving the new SICT technology, similar shell and ventilation to the B-first, and Isoflex for easy installation.
Britax B-Compaq Installation
The hardest part of the installation is removing the Isoflex connectors from the compartments under the seat. Once removed, the next difficulty is reclining the seat to the rear-facing position. This is best done with the seat on its side. The level indicator ensures your baby will be secured at the correct angle.
Connecting the Isoflex connectors and tensioning was straightforward and should not give any difficulty to parents installing themselves.
When you need assistance with the installation seek Professional and Accredited Local business for baby seat installation.
Ease of Use (Britax B-Compaq)
Easy Adjust Harness
The easy adjust harness has received the B-first treatment. At the top of the headrest is the easy adjust lever, making harness adjustment easier. The Graphene required awkward push/pull levers; the new B-Compaq is definitely easier to adjust.
Comfort
The Britax B-Compaq convertible car seat has received the ventilation comfort feature from the B-first. Thermo5 fabric and airflow channels help keep babies cooler.
Ease of Use (Harness Loosening)
This is where the Britax B-Compaq falls down. Tensioning the harness is straightforward, but loosening it is difficult because Britax only provided a slot that does not line up with the button underneath the fabric. The problem is resolved by pulling the covers up to reveal the button underneath.
