The Mico Ap Capsule has been updated several times since 2018, the replacement Capsules include the Maxi Cosi Limited edition, Maxi Cosi Mico plus, Maxi Cosi 6, and the Maxi Cosi 12 lx. All these include updated covers with baby cool fabric , updated isofix and magnetic clips on the sides
Recommended….. Updated 2018. The Mico Ap Capsule has a unique Pram adaptor system which means you can connect this capsule to the majority of prams out in the marketplace. The Capsule is lightweight and easy to carry. Two drawbacks of the Mico AP capsule are: the ISOFIX systems does not work and the foot adjuster lever position make it easy to release and cause the base to become loose.

The Maxi Cosi Mico AP baby capsule is an infant car seat(baby capsule) rich in safety features.
While other models get the lion’s share of the attention, the maxi cosi Mico Ap keeps your children extremely comfortable, and safe.
The Maxi Cosi AP has 5-pt harness, and a canopy. The 5-pt harness makes strapping infants in a breeze; and prevents any flailing out in the event of collision. The canopy adds an extra comfort dimension to the seat, and will provide great coverage to whoever sitting in it.
Capsule Cover and CanopyThe capsule Cover comes in a basic black and has a half canopy. Unlike the the Mico plus it does not have have wicking fabric to keep the child cooler in warm weather. The Mico plus canopy is a spf50 fabric and is and extended canopy protecting bubs on a very sunny days. The is ventilation mesh on the sides and a peek a boo mesh window at the rear of the capsule. The Mico ap does not have these additions

Installation Methods
Mico AP Isofix Mode
Isofix is a system designed by britax and Volkwagen in 1997. This was maxi cosi first attempt at using isofix in Australia. Unfortunately the design of the isofix installation system had a number of errors meaning that in many case it was not possible to get a secure connection
Mico AP Non isofix
The Non isofix / seat belt installation is generally a more difficult way to install a baby car seat/baby capsule. The reason is that in many baby capsule there is no locking off device to keep the seat belt tight.
Capsule StabilityMany new parents are thrown into confusion by a parent or friend with an older child, who inform them that their capsule is not installed correctly by moving the capsule at the far end. The sttability should always be check at the seat belt path and never anywhere else.
