Not Recommended… Updated 2015 – The Combination of a wide base, Large Isofix Buckles and the steep angle of the stabilising bar mean that the ISOFIX installation in rear facing will be loose and not as tight as a seat belt installation. The height markers on this seat are lower than the Britax and Infa car seat, as such; you will not get as long out of this seats as you will with the other two brands.

The wait is finally over, it is now possible to buy a Maxi Cosi Euro ISOFIX child restraint. However DOREL have call the new Maxi Cosi Euro car-seat with ISOFIX the EURO ISOGO Car-seat.
The reason behind not including ISOFIX is that the name ISOFIX is owned by both Britax and Volkswagen. as such it has had to be renamed the ISO Child restraint.
Isogo system
The Euro ISOGO child restraint is a flexible ISOFIX child restraint. . The other alternative to flexible ISOFIX is the rigid ISOFIX system.
The rigid system is attached directly to the frame of the car and more energy can be transferred directly to the child restraint.
Installing ISOGO
The first thing that you notice about the Maxi Cosi ISOGO is that the base of the seat is wider than the isofix attachment points (normally 28 cm apart). Unfortunately the isogo does not work to get a secure installation. A seat belt Installation must be done in order to secure the car seat
Next move the bulky isofix tightening mechanism to the side, enabling you tosee the red/green indicators.
Tighten the ISOGO connectors until you see a solid Green indicator on both sides. (Note this is a difficult task and may take up to 30 minutes).
When you have managed to get both indicators green, connect the upper tether strap and secure this so that it is taut and secure
There is very few difference to the previous version of the Maxi Cosi Euro, other than G-Cell technology. The harness padding is still attached to the car seat cover, and the easy adjust mechanism is the same.
