NOT RECOMMENDED — The Nuna Aace Booster is just a booster using the adult lap‑sash seat belt. The cost is 20% more than the trusted Britax Hi-Liner, which we have used for many years. The Nuna Aace does not have an anti‑submarining clip to prevent your child from sliding under the lap section of the seat belt.

Nuna AACE Booster seat review

Nuna Aace Booster – Wide Seat

The width of the Nuna Aace is very wide at 50–56 cm, compared to the Britax Hi-Liner width of 41 cm. When placed in your car, there is a high chance the booster will sit on top of the seat belt buckle, making it difficult to buckle the booster.

This problem is even worse when the car seat has contours — your child may end up sitting at an angle.

Three Car Seats Across

The Nuna Aace cannot be used when fitting three car seats across the middle row. Its width (50–56 cm) means it will not fit into the middle position without sitting on at least one seat belt buckle.

The armrests also make it difficult to connect the seat belt when placed close to another seat. This is a complete fail…

When you need a booster seat that fits three across, it is highly recommended to use the Kid Guard Pro .

Expandable Wings

Nuna Aace Booster Expanded Wings

The expandable wings allow children with wider shoulders to fit more comfortably. The mechanism widens the wings by raising the headrest.

Lifting the headrest is easy initially, but widening the wings becomes significantly harder — many parents will struggle with it.

Ventilated Shell

The ventilated shell is an attempt at adding a feature to the booster seat, but it has little chance of actually working. Unlike the Britax B‑First, which has real airflow channels, the Nuna Aace’s ventilation holes have almost no airflow from under or behind the seat.
