SUMMARY
NOT RECOMMENDED – The mothers choice levi convertible booster seat is not recommended as the next step from a rear facing seat. The seat does not have a recline function meaning bubs is sitting upright. When you need to adjust the harness height, you need to un-install the seat while manual rethreading the harness. The seat is one of the most difficult seats to install with a complicated seat belt path.

Installation of the Mothers Choice Levi
While some parents read the Instructions, many will not read the instructions. The Mothers Choice Levi complicates matters further with a complicated seat belt path.
The installation requires the sash to go over the top section of the seat, the lap to go under the armrest; coming together the go behind the seat out the other side and under the arm rest again.
Mothers Choice LEVI Installation ERRORS
Many parents forget to put the sash over the top section of the seat. Thereby compromising the safety of the child.
Other errors include not going behind the seat and going straight across and using a locking clip. Once again, compromising the safety of the child.
Recline on Mothers Choice Levi
There is very little recline with the Mothers choice Levi booster type seat. This will cause it to be extremely upright or conform the your cars contouring; making it especially uncomfortable for younger travellers. In a Dual Cab this seat would be un-comfortable for children under 3 years of age.
Harness adjustment
When your child grows you will need to Un-install the seat in order to adjust the harness height to the next position. The fact the Mothers Choice Levi is limited to ONLY 4 harness positions; limits its use. A family in the last week purchased one where the child was only 20 months old and had to put on the top slot for the seat.
Clearly the sales staff did not do a good job in helping with the seat selection or explaining the limitations of the seat.

CONCLUSION
The Mothers Choice Levi (CONCLUSIONB/E type seat) Convertible booster seat is a style of seat which should be phased out. There are better alternatives out there; such as the extended harnessing (type g) seat.
These seats were introduced into the 2013 Australian standard and have had sufficient time for sales staff to be aware of the benefits of a type G seat and where it can be used correctly.
The suggested extended harnessing baby car seat is the Britax Maxi Guard, this seat can be used once the child has been turned forward facing(usually around 14-24 months of age)
